Learn about the flavor perceptions of craft beer plus a full discussion of common off flavors that can occur in your homebrew. This will be a great class for anyone interested in improving their beer brewing skills or just want to enhance their knowledge of beer!

We will be meeting at Big Dog Craft Brewing’s new location next to the homebrew store for this fun and informative class. Come early and grab dinner before the class kicks of if you’d like. Click here for food menu.
The first hour, each person will receive a flight of beers from Big Dog for sampling. Mark will discuss flavor profiles, ingredients used, plus brewing techniques for each beer style present.
From there, we will move into a discussion of off flavors that can occur in beer. Using the Sensory Kit from the Siebel Institute of Technology, we will taste 12 different common off flavors in beer. Learn how these flavors can occur and how to avoid them in your homebrew.
