Learn about the many taste perceptions associated with the beer drinking experience plus a full discussion of common off flavors that can occur in beer.

Special guest: Francisco Ramirez from Mad Chef Craft Brewing
We will be meeting at Lancaster Homebrew’s new location for this fun and informative class. The first hour, each person will receive a flight of beers from Mad Chef for sampling. Francisco will discuss flavor profiles, ingredients used, plus brewing techniques for each beer style present.
From there, we will move into a discussion of off flavors that can occur in beer. Using the Sensory Kit from the Siebel Institute of Technology, we will taste 12 different common off flavors in beer. Learn how these flavors can occur and how to avoid them.
This will be a great class for anyone interested in improving their beer brewing skills or just want to enhance their knowledge of beer!
