I wanted to try making smoked porter using something besides cherry or beechwood. I came across Lancaster Homebrewing and ordered some of this alder smoked malt. Wow what a fantastic beer this makes! I used it at 54% of the total grain bill and it came out perfect! Highly recommend this grain!
