If you’re serving a nitro stout, cold brew coffee, or any nitrogen-conditioned beverage on draft, a standard beer faucet won’t cut it. The Stout Faucet is purpose-built for nitro pours — the stainless steel restrictor nozzle agitates the beer as it’s dispensed, triggering the nitrogen to break out of solution and produce the signature cascading pour and thick, creamy head that makes nitro beers so distinctive.
How It Works Standard faucets dispense beer in a wide, open flow. A stout faucet forces the beer through a multi-hole restrictor disc in the nozzle at high velocity, shearing nitrogen bubbles out of solution as the beer exits. The result is the slow cascade and dense, long-lasting head that defines a proper nitro pour.
Chrome and Stainless Construction The chrome-plated brass body is the standard finish for draft faucets — durable, easy to clean, and compatible with any standard shank. The stainless steel nozzle resists corrosion and is easy to disassemble for cleaning.
Standard Compatibility Fits any standard draft shank with a standard faucet thread — compatible with most homebrewer and commercial kegerator setups.
Important Notes
- Stout faucets are designed for use with nitrogen or nitro blend gas (typically 75% N₂ / 25% CO₂), not standard CO₂ systems.
- Using a stout faucet with a standard CO₂-only setup will not produce a proper nitro pour and may result in excessive foaming.
- Requires a nitrogen-capable regulator and gas line setup.
