Description
When you need CO₂ on the go, 8 g cartridges are the compact, no-fuss solution. These unthreaded cartridges are the standard size used by a wide range of portable draft and beverage dispensing devices — no regulator, no tank, no hassle.
Common Uses
- Charging and dispensing from a portable keg (approx. 2 cartridges per full, already-carbonated keg)
- Powering a Tap-A-Draft party can system
- Works with the GrowlerWerks pressurizeable uKeg Growler.
- Any compatible device designed for standard unthreaded 8g CO₂ cartridges
What “Unthreaded” Means Unthreaded cartridges have a smooth neck with no external threads. They’re punctured by the device itself when installed — the most common format for portable beverage dispensers and party tap systems. Make sure your device specifies unthreaded cartridges before purchasing.
Important Notes
- Cartridges are single-use and not refillable.
- These will not work in devices requiring threaded cartridges.
- Force carbonating a keg requires significantly more CO₂ than these cartridges provide — use a standard CO₂ tank and regulator for carbonation.
- Sold individually.
- Cartridge is 2 1/2″ long and 11/16″ in diameter
