This winter will be our second annual Homebrew Contest hosted by Iron Hill Brewery and Lancaster Homebrew.
Entries are due Wednesday, January 8th 2014 at Lancaster Homebrew (1920 Lincoln Hwy E)
Announcement Party at Iron Hill Brewery on Wednesday evening, January 15th at 7pm
Join us as we award the winners of the competition. Come early for dinner and a beer! If you can’t make it, we will post the results on our website and mail out the judges score cards to you.
This event will be BJCP sanctioned with certified beer judges.
Best of Show: gets to brew their beer with the brewers at Iron Hill Brewery and have it on tap at the Lancaster location. Also, they will collaborate with the chef for a special dish to be served at the release party, Finally, the first place winner will get a $75 prize, and a $75 gift card to Lancaster Homebrew and bragging rights!!!!!!!
Runner Up: a $50 prize and a $50 gift card to Lancaster Homebrew
2nd Runner Up: a $25 prize and a $25 gift card to Lancaster Homebrew
Two Honorable Mentions: $20 gift card to Lancaster Homebrew
1. Entry fee: $5.00 per entry CASH PAYMENT ( you must submit 2 plain 12 oz amber bottles with no labels on them except for a BJCP bottle label rubber banded on)
You may enter more than one beer. No flip top bottles.
2.Down load file for BJCP_BottleID BJCP bottle label must be completely filled out before dropping off at Lancaster Homebrew. Beer category AND subcategory must be chosen. To help you figure out how to categorize your entries you can download BJCP Style Guidelines below:

Judging will take place at Lancaster Homebrew (1920 Lincoln Hwy E, Lancaster, Pa 17602) on Sunday, January 12th. There will be a morning and afternoon session. Please meet at 8:30am to be ready to start at 9am. Lunch will be provided from noon to 1pm and then we will resume judging. For any additional questions anyone may have, please email us.
