To celebrate National Homebrew Day, Lancaster Homebrew will be participating in Big Brew Day so we want to get as many people as possible to come out and brew with us.  If you don’t want to brew on site, you may prefer to sign up for one of our free brewing classes.  See below for details.

Brew Day Details:

-We are looking for extract brewers and all grain brewers.  You must bring your own pot, burner and propane tank.  Bring any other necessary equipment you may need.  Bring a wort chiller if you have one.

-The first twenty four people to sign up will each get a $30 Lancaster Homebrew gift certificate.  You must call or email us to sign up!  You must brew on site with us to earn the gift certificate.  Gift certificates will be handed out on Big Brew Day.

-To ensure that we have all the proper ingredients for all these brewing recipes, orders must be placed on our online store by Saturday, April 27^th 3pm.  You may also come by the store to put your recipe together.  This will alleviate bottle necks at the grain mill on May 4^th and prevent shortages of ingredients.

-This will be a rain or shine event, so come prepared!  Feel free to bring lawn chairs and pop up canopies.

-Water can be purchased outside of Brewers Outlet for 25 cents per gallon or bring your own.

-There will be a few electrical outlets available.  An extension chord may be helpful.

-There will be three garden hose hook ups to accommodate wort chillers.

-Please bring a few homebrews to share with others!!!!

-FOOD:  The boy scouts will be in the upper parking lot that day for their annual chicken BBQ, so please consider supporting them!

FREE CLASSES!

All Grain Class:

There will be a free beginners all grain beer brewing class from 10am to noon.  Observe how to mash your grains and conduct a
sparge.  Call or email to sign up.

Beginners Beer Brewing Class:

There will be a free extract beer brewing class during Big Brew Day from 10am to noon.  Learn how to make beer using malt extracts
