Lancaster Homebrew was founded by three guys who have been brewing beer for over a decade combined.  We are enthusiastic about homebrew and hope to enlighten others about the art.   Whether you’ve been brewing for years or have never done it before, we’d love for you to come out and and see what we’re all about.

Mark Garber

Mark is the helpful face you will most likely encounter at our store.  He will be happy to tell you about some of the products that we have to offer as well as show you how to brew during our Saturday brewing demonstrations.  Mark enjoys anything from milk stouts to a real hoppy ale, and as far as wine goes, he loves Merlot.

Matt Friedman

Matt has been homebrewing for several years. He’s enjoyed beer since his first Genesee Cream Ale back in the ’70s. Thankfully, his taste has changed, and he enjoys everything from a Russian Imperial Stout to a clean crisp Pilsner. Matt’s wine tastes have changed dramatically  over the past decade and is looking forward to making his own from fresh grapes. He’s very happy to be a part of this venture and enjoys helping others who have a passion for homebrewing.

Don brings many years of brewing and winemaking experience to the group.
